It's April and that means it's National Poetry Month! Last year I participated in Rena Traxel's A to Z Poetry Month, Blogging from A to Z, NaPoWriMo, and Kidlit Progressive Poem! Even though I knew April was coming and I knew it would be Poetry Month, I didn't think about participating until last night! So, since it was too late to join a challenge, I made up my own. Here's how it will work:
I have asked my Facebook friends to help my by posting a challenging word every day in April and the first word posted will be the word I'll use to write a poem. I'll post the poems here and on my Lori Degman - Children's Book Author page before the end of each day. I'd love if you would add your own poems here in the comment section and post or link to it on my FB page!
